Los Cabos, Mexico was host of the “Ultimate Waterman’s Challenge” exhibition event, August 25th, 26th and 27th, the event is an example of the growing number of aquatic competitions around the world.
National and international aquatic athletes competed in this event, among them proudly was Fernando Stalla of Punta Mita Ocean Sports, who locked down the overall winner “Ultimate Waterman’s Challenge” with his double victory win in SUP Surfing and spearfishing.
Fernando commented that during the exhibition the competitors combined the athletic physical conditions together with techniques in the different disciplines presented. Emphasizing that spearfishing is an essential activity in the concept of “waterman”, relating it to the ideology of living from and for the ocean, which is who gives them everything.
Fernando proudly forms part of Punta Mita Ocean Sports, or the Koa Kai – the elite team of Aquatic Athletes that lead the Ocean Sports activities in the exclusive Punta Mita development in Mexico.
Los Cabos fue el lugar anfitrión del evento de exhibición “Ultimate Waterman’s Challenge” el pasado 25, 26 y 27 de Agosto, siendo una de las modalidades de competencias acuáticas en crecimiento en diversos destinos del mundo.
En este reto compitieron atletas acuáticos nacionales e internacionales, entre los que orgullosamente se encuentra Fernando Stalla, quien es el ganador del título “Ultimate Waterman’s Challenge” en su primera edición, obteniendo el 1er. Lugar en las categorías de spearfishing y paddle boarding.
Fernando comenta que durante la exposición los participantes combinaron las condiciones físicas atléticas junto con las técnicas en las diversas disciplinas que se presentaron. Haciendo hincapié en que el spearfishing es una actividad esencial en el concepto de “waterman”, relacionándolo con la ideología de vivir de y para el océano, que es quien el que les da todo.
Fernando orgullosamente forma parte de Punta Mita Ocean Sports, o el Koa Kai – el equipo elite de Atletas Acuáticos que lideran las actividades de deportes acuáticos en el exclusivo desarrollo Punta Mita en México.
